Southeast Boise is most significantly defined by the Boise River which borders its northern edge. Starting at Boise State University Southeast Boise stretches southeast (d'uh), just south of the Boise River, until you reach Micron Technologies. One of Boise's (and Idaho's) largest employers! The area is desirable for home buyers because of its close proximity to Boise, the river and its great homes!
Southeast Boise is primarily a residential neighborhood. Boise State University starts it on the west side and Micron Technology ends it on the east side. People are drawn to Southeast Boise for its biking and hiking and even fishing along the Greenbelt. Bown Crossing is a mixed use development that many in the area (and outside the area) enjoy. There are other great eating establishments in Southeast Boise including Barbacoa (which is one of Boise's most unique eating establishments).
